NORTH WEST POLICE BENEVOLENT FUND - LODGE BOOKINGS FOR 2012

As you know the Benevolent Fund has sold the lodges based in Llanteg, (near Tenby), South Wales however one of the lodges has been purchased by our colleagues in SOCA under their Care and Rehabilitation Scheme (CARS). The trustees of CARS are offering Benevolent Fund members access to their lodge on a rental basis only at reduced rates.

Tariff as follows:-

Off Peak - @ £275 per week

Peak - (July/ August and includes all School Holiday periods - @ £395 per week

Bookings are normally from Saturday to Saturday however short breaks may be available on request. Bookings are being taken via e-mail from 1st January 2012 onwards

Please leave your name and contact number, force, dates required and your e-mail address, if the dates requested are available the booking forms will be e-mailed to you so please check your e-mails as it is not possible to call everyone back due to the high volume of calls - Please be patient - Please remember in the interest of fairness, if you booked a school holiday period last year you will not be able to book one again this year.

Carnforth site

Bookings commence on Monday 16th January 2012 at 9 am - (site re-opens 7th Feb)

South Wales Lodges, Pembrokeshire

The lodges that belonged to the Fund are no longer available, apologies for any inconvenience however for any Benevolent Fund member still wanting to attend Llanteglos Estate, the site owners will offer a discount on their lodges for members. Windermere site

Bookings commence on Monday 6th February 2012 at 9 am - (site re-opens 1st March)

**** The initial bookings for Carnforth and Windermere sites are taken by telephone only for the first week due to the high volume of requests, after the first week it is possible to revert back to emailing your request ****

If the Ben Fund lodges are fully booked it may be possible to make use of the lodges owned by White Cross Bay site, Windermere at a preferential rate negotiated for Ben Fund members only. This must be referred via the Ben Fund so please e-mail your request to jsmithies@gmpf.polfed.org.
