Cheshire Police Federation are delighted to be working with Ginge Tours to bring you holidays and breaks at discounted prices.
Geoff from Ginge Tours explains
My Pledge – the pledge is simple and made up of 3 steps. First I am aim to give you from the outset the best price I can get. This is not a set “Blue Light discount”, it is immediately the best price I can achieve. The second element is I am completely open over what I earn on a particular booking. So I will tell you what the commission level is after some unavoidable charges such as insurance and merchant fees are removed. Depending on the supplier an agent receives between 7 and 14% commission so I will tell you what I earn. If after the charges are removed my commission level is above £150 then on return from the holiday the client would get 50% of that commission returned to them as cash.
So for an example, if my commission from the supplier was £220 and my unavoidable charges equated to £20, then upon return my net commission would be £200. This would result in a return to the client of £100.
For most smaller bookings (your typical 10-14 days in the sun on a package holiday) often by commission having applied the best price aspect of step one results in my commission being around £40-£50 so the cash back doesn’t apply. But on higher priced holidays clients can get a lot back – for example I have a client doing the Orient Express, a cruise and a Rome stay this summer. The overall supplier price was £37,560. I reduced this to £35000 and they are likely to be getting in the region of £750 in cash back when they get home – a overall saving of £3310.
I am not aware of any other agent who is as open about what they are earning or gives a cash back when their clients get home!
